Tech; Speedo Correction on 94-97 Ram
After changing gears or going to a larger diameter tire you will need to change the speedometer gear to keep the computer happy and your speedo accurate. The speedo gear is located in the back drivers side of the tranny and the gear only cost a few dollars from the dealers.
Be sure to put the gear in metal end first. Use some rtv sealant around the housing to make sure it doesn't leak.
Above is the 32 gear for stock 3.55s
3.92s I have a 35 tooth gear
4.10s then you want 36 tooth gear
